Mobile Noise Pollution

I hate mobiles, mainly because of the noise pollution that their use has created since they were launched for the masses in the 80's.
Most mobile users, especially in this country, have absolutely no regards to others in their vicinity.
Sometimes when I watch a classic movie and the butler comes to a table in the restaurant and informs the gentleman or the lady that they have a telephone call, I just think that these were the good old days.

I have at work just outside my office a corridor overlooking a nice view, but it has become impossible to concentrate with so many other employees using this corridor to chat with their mobiles.

There are moblie jammers that they put in hospitals and I am just thinking of putting one in my office during my working periods so that these b*****s will find it impossible to get a signal.
Anybody has any information about these gadgets, prices, health hazards, range, and if it is legal to install?

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Most mobile jamming is achieved by fine metal mesh, embedded in walls or surface mounting, more signal prevention than active jamming which is probably illegal.

My System: Technomate TM6800D & TM1000D+ receivers, Stab H-H90 motorised Triax 1m dish 42E to 30W. Fixed Orbital 1m on 26E, 2 x minidishes.DigitAlB movies. A Bigsat BS-S77CX and a Sky Dodgibox.

Mobile phone jamming is illegal in the UK, and I would imagine elsewhere too. The operator has paid for a licence to use the frequencies.

I have seen them being sold however for about UK£ 40 .

Can't you just go out there and tell them to "SHUT THE F UP"
