My System: Mostly gathering dust cos I'm a lazy git. Porty dish face blew off the mount, not too pleased... The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken! | Very interesting indeed, and with oil on it's way out, this looks like a viable energy source to me along side wind and water power...

Hmmmm. Photosynthesis obtains oxygen (and sugar) from Carbon Dioxide and water The article doesn't suggest where the sugar goes, (alcohol maybe with a bit of yeast ?) Whilst it all looks good on paper, I cannot help feeling that a mechanical process using solar panels ( an energy intensive product to manufacture), cannot begin to compete with the efficiency of plants.
