Havent got the faintest idea A lot of folks will drop in for one or two if they are doing other things during the day / evening. A lot know its happening and will chip in on the night. I just have some fun and if folks enjoy it all the better - I dont mind in the slightest if its just me all day .

Dunno really - just cant stand the British coverage. BBC Scotland always have some bloke torturing a cat on just before the bells, and the UK presenters are always half cut.

I remember about 10 years ago the Scottish NYE coverage was filmed in Selkirk - in October!

Ever since I discovered I could watch something foreign instead Ive done that

The Middle East tends not to do very much, some fireworks were spotted on one of the channels a few years ago but thats been about it.

Sherry evenings in the past lead to the watching of two New Year celebrations at the same time. The morning after can also be colourful.....

We have never spotted anything off Saudi TV, many of the Mid East countries dont celebrate New Year as we do

Arirang is a news / documentary channel - some good stuff on it - well worth investigating at any time of year.
