Silverstone Feed

I arrived back at my receiver a couple of hours after your post. Yes, I can get that feed with 52% Signal. I have reasonable picture with just a little pixelation. Open mike with conversation going on.

Thanks a lot, well pleased that I can see this. I loaded the channels from Lyngsat a while ago and expected that just scanning the channels would give me something to watch but the symbol rate for this frequency/polarisation is different to the lyngsat list that I retrieved. A blind scan would be better, I guess but for me, that pulls in the stuff at 9E as well.

I hope that I am making sense, I am fairly new at this stuff.
Anyway, thanks again.

Symbol rate

Yes, tweaking the dish had crossed my mind too and I will tackle that tomorrow.

I am fascinated with the feeds. Can I ask how you do the scan to find these feeds. Are you simply doing a blind scan, or is there a way to scan all symbol rates? Again, pardon me if I have the terminology wrong.

Thanks, Alan

Ive put the regularly occurring feed freqs into my 10E tp list, and made up a favourites list with all the feeds in it. I pick up some of them from the feeds sites -

_http://www.satelliweb.com/index.php?section=livef&langue=en

is one I have bookmarked, although just flicking through the favorites list picks most of them up.

Work through this list and stick the recent 10E feeds into your receiver:

Great!

Just for our info, I have a buddy, who has been helping me install and set up the Technomate. Just had a chat with him and pointed him toward this feed. now he's hooked too! So, 2 new feed hunters!! Max is on the forum, although he hasn't posted for a while. I am sure he will pop his head up and say hello.

Can I just say that it is refreshing to find a forum where people are interested in sharing information. Thank you so much.

Ok, I'm off to follow that link and see where it leads me.

Cheers, Alan
