Advice needed on new PC card and TV player software

Hi all.

I am ready to install TV on two more PCs in my house, making three in all. They are both new - I had to build them after a thunderstorm knocked out the old ones.

I use DVB Dream - But I cannot get HD to work .It finds the channels, however selecting an HD one just explodes the running .exe. I have loaded the codecs that I think I need.)

I also use WinTV 7 1.1D, but although it finds the HD channels BBC, Luxe and ITV, and displays them well it has no favourites capability and you cannot add channels manually (to my amazement).

I have battled with installing WMC and failed miserably. Apparently I have to completely re-install my PC because I need to install WMC 2008 Package before using it for the first time. Hardly a viable option.

I am limited to PCI-EXPRESS 1 on one of my PCs, but 16 is available on the other.

Can anybody recommend a card and player combination that can help me please?

I want to pick up DTV-S and DTV-T from Astra 2. Nothing cleverer
