B&Q cheap sat kit

Our local B&Q has some fta satellite kits available for £40.

Theres a tiny fta box, cables, clips and a 65cm dish in the kit.

£40? That's cheap!!! But I bet it's not very good quality...

Any idea of the box's manufacturer?

Dunno - the dish was mounted on a rack 10 feet up and the receiver was tied to the top of the lnb arm!

Actually the dish didnt look too bad - from what I could see it was a proper mount rather than a window mount.

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs

Lidl here in Northern Ireland had there Silvercrest kit back on the shelves yesterday for £69

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

Lidl actually had it as low as £30 in the summer!




Not bad - only £5 more than I paid.

Makro also shifts out the Silvercrest kits, but they also have one DIY HD satellite kit for just over £100.

It will be bought in Chinese stock. B&Q dont do their own brand satellite stuff. They sell SLX branded dishes.

before i would buy there speakers,i buy magnat and infiity !

on of the biggest in germany with a great choice is _hirsch-ille.de
with a unbelivible great choice and good prices!
if someone means he got a better quality when he buy expensice speakers,then he should do it,but iam sure,that this kind of buyers,dont can tell with closed eyes,from what kind of speakers,the listen music
