How long will they it last' minium time'?

It is very sad that the broadcasters are changing there encryption systems to the next generation version 2 cards. I would be greatful if you could let me know that for how long the minimun time the following packages will stay in version 1at least.

When you reply please give the URL source to back up your information .

RE: v1 to v2

Shahid,

Are you worried that you will lose your late night entertainment?

All I know is that the French network TPS said that they would change from v1 to v2 on the 13th May (already passed). I think that the total change is set for the end of May.

While I’m on the subject of TPS and V1 / V2 I was surprised to find out that TPS have only needed to issue new V2 cards to people who don’t rent there receiver from TPS.
The subscribers who do rent there receiver have had a firmware change, which I’m told is called TPScrypt, but they are still using the same card.
We will see………to be continued……………………………………………….
