One many posts I see and asterix replacing words. like the k in Sky and a letter in BSB.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Just the auto censor, keeps the hounds at bay.

Shouldn't replace any inoffensive words though.

OK, the only one that was censored was Seca, and that was because of the Google search bot.. so not too bad.

So except for swearing it is there to stop the post being picked up by search engines?
I've just been and looked for some posts as an example of where I've seen S*y but can't locate any at the moment.

extra CAM slot on sky box-is it working OK?

4th on down (Llew) asterix between the S&Y. Is that for the same reason, and why does it do it on some posts and not others.

That is people putting in their own asterisks or dollar signs, as they have to do on some other forums.
