My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

I wouldn't recommend buying new cards at the moment, you may be able to use the laptop to flash the Matrix Reloaded and the Dragon loader should be pretty straightforward to program, you just need to follow the instructiion in the readme which accompanies the file.

Surely someone could do this over the phone with you - only wish I knew more myself.

Did you try following the instructions on the Duwgati website?
