My System: Sky UK family pack. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (4.6E/5E/13E/16E/19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA (with dragon cam), Coship CDVB 2300A, Fortecstar Lifetime Ultra, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S, 2250kb

Neat satellite tracking programme

As promised on the earth clock thread, heres the addy of the satellite tracking programme. Once downloaded, you need to run the update to get the latest keplarian element for loads of sats.

And heres a screen shot. Only just downloaded it, so its not fully configured here yet, but will give you an idea of what it looks like. Theres also a 3dview.

You can skin it to some degree using some of the files on the site. Have look around the Satscape site for details. You can even add in voice announcements!

Edit Heres a screen grab showing the visible birds, with a Cosmos almost overheard! However as it cold enough to freeze the cobblers off a brassmonkey outside, Im not going outside to look....
