My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Dudez has closed and the Den will be closing later today, if the Den does return, it will be in a different form. You can still log on to the den if you rejoin, but it will only be for the short term.

These are not the only boards affected and it makes it even more important that our members make sure that they are aware of our forum rules, particularly the one concerning no posting of Keys, Hexfiles, Emus, or any file containing keys, this is the rule that has up until now allowed us to stay open, when others have been forced to close.

Thanks,
Do mean Dudez will close 4 good? Or is it a short term measure?
Is this a damage limitation measure in response to what's happened across Europe in recent days (Italy,France, Spain and Malta)?

Yep, same as in Malta.
The following is from http://www.maltamedia.com/news/2004/...cle_4404.shtml

Informatics pirates arrested following EU-Maltese Police collaboration
By Ruth Davies
Dec 8, 2004, 10:34 CET

In coordinated work between the Maltese, Italian, Spanish and Polish police, the Police Squad against Economic Crimes and the Cyber Crime Unit managed to seize material related to the copying of satellite dish cards and code hacking, which breeches the right of the author is used without consent. Two men were arrested after police discovered they were involved in the breeching the system of $ky’s satellite channels codes.

A group of informatics pirates managed to breech the system of $ky’s satellite codes channel and distributed them through an internet site. Software and apparatus which allows the viewing of cryptic transmissions was also handed out.

Police Squad against economic crimes had for a long while been collaborating with foreign police and Anal Plus officials in France in order to raid the suspect locations. Following raids carried out in Wied il-Ghajn, St. Julian’s and San Gwann two men were arrested. A 37-year-old man from Fgura and a 47-year-old man from St. Julian’s are helping police in further investigations and are expected to be arraigned in court in the upcoming days.

A number of satellite decoders, cards and computers elevated during the raid. Additionally the police seized other objects related with satellite card modification taking place through internet sites used by various individuals around Europe.

The two arrested men are expected to be arraigned in court in the upcoming days.

If the file facilitates the decrypting of channels without the use of a further card or CAM, then it is not allowed I'm afraid mo1965.
