Michael Jackson, Saint or Sinner?

OK, what are your thoughts, is Michael Jackson guilty as charged, or a naive childlike character whos intentions have been misunderstood?

I appreciate that the trial has yet to start, but I'm sure that most people have an opinion.

Please keep the debate civilised.

No or please

Until the trial is over, it's difficult to go on specualtion and what the papers write.
They want headlines not truth.
I personally think he will be found not guilty, but we'll have to wait and see.

Not sure what to believe, but a vast amount of the information is already in the public domain, it'll be interesting to see what new information comes to light.

I believed that the very first case was a setup in order to make money, there appeared to be no emotion showing by the parents of the boy, when I believe a genuine case would have been very stressful for them. I'm also not sure whether genuine people would have accepted a pay out.

No other way to vote - mad as a bloody hatter No doubt his defence attorneys will plead insanity on his behalf - if the trial appears to be going against Jacko

My System: Sky HD, TM6800HD, Manhattan Plaza ST550 and TM1500 CI+. 1.0m dish and 36v motor, Panasonic DVD HDD recorder and Panasonic video/DVD recorder. Sony G800 HD TV stand/surround system + Sony KDL40W2000. Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2.

Jacko is definitely naive, no doubt about that. He relates to children much better than he does to adults and this has brought about the charges against him. He's very, very talented but also stupid.

Seems to have spent his life searching for something but never found it.

Anyway they are off and today. Let's see.

I'm not so sure, a couple of mill' are/were nothing to him, but even unfounded accusations can be extremely damaging and that is a small price to pay to stop them in their tracks. I still believe what I said earlier, a legitimately aggrieved family would have stuck to their guns.

Probably why he named his two up two down terrace house Neverland. Never Never Land might have been more appropriate

People will settle out of court even for millions, and even if they are truly innocent.

Well I believe he's guilty but disconnected from reality - perhaps not the same as mad as a hatter though.

Had to vote for mad in the end.

Bang 'im up.

20 years should do it. Be interesting to see what he looks like when he comes out. All that cosmetic surgery should look like a plate of offal by then.

There's a lot to come out of this as we all know and some stuff I just don't understand. Look at this way. You're a parent of an underage child, you know jacko paid up big bucks to avoid a charge of kiddy fiddling (trumped up or not) yet you let your child go to his place and stay there overnight. If Jacko is guilty what would you be guilty of or are you looking for a few mill.

Only the court case will tell. If there are a lot of other children saying the same type of thing then the charges will be easier to believe, but I would be surprised if there are. Knowing how important money can be to some people, it is not beyond reason to think that this kid has been coached by his money hungry parents, a conviction would bring them millions in publishing deals.

If (big if) he's found guilty I wonder if all his records will be given the cold shoulder in the same way as Gary Glitter's and Jonathan King's?

Actually, if he is found guilty I strongly suspect a number of people willrefuse to believe the result. More Flat Earthers!

It was very similar with Mike Tyson, there are still a huge amount of people who consider him an icon and when pressed about the rape conviction, they say that it was a setup, whether they believe that in their heart of hearts is another matter.

Hi,

Agree with you on this one. He missed most of his childhood and he's tried to regain it by the fairgorund rides and animals etc. Very Naive - I hope to God he hasn't.
