i wanted to buy a sky plus box, and not pay the extra £10 a month.... is this possible

can a person already subscribed just use the box and hard drive... or do you need to pay the extra each month....

i friend of mine says he doesnt think the record function on the TVguide works without paying for the extra features? surly this is an hardware feature.

My System: DreamBox 7000s - Nokia Freeview - Several GameBoys - DS Lite - ZX81 - SNES - N64 - Sega Saturn Dreamcast - PlayStation - Gamecube - PSP - iPod - iPhone - XBox - PS3 - Wii - No Life!

If you are on a package that includes the movies or sport add ons (the expensive ones) then you don't pay the £10 a month.

ummm i am suscribed to the family pack at the moment.. £19.50pm
i dont subscribe to sport or movies as i dont need to, i get them channels with my dreambox for free
so that means i would have to pay another tenner a month...nearly £30pm for the same channels... sack that

If the next package up was £10 more - added to your existing subs - would you not get the sport or movies?

If so, you would then get the Sky+ function included - at least you would get some extra channels for you £10.
