My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs

LOL, just looking at the photo does me in, I'll stick to normal rooftop installations thanks.

Done it, but only on the Post Office Tower (now BT Tower) over 35 years ago. Mind you, would not attempt anything like that now after nearly doing a "Roy Hudd's Aerial" on my old bosses roof last year. I must admit looking at that picture made my b*lls shrink and my knees go all wobbly. I really admire those chaps who work on the sky scraper steelwork and high level aerial installers and the chaps who errect those tall cranes.

As the saying goes "going down is OK it's the sudden stop at the end which is a killer"

@ CHOr was it Rod Hull? The chap who fell off the roof whilst adjusting his TV aerial. It was one of those names, very similar. Memory going, senility creeping up very fast, cremation paid for, now going to have a piece of steak, colesterol level due to go up, clogged arteries, turn the lights off, see you all in hell!
