Too much compression on Five on 2D?

Been sitting here for the last hour or so with Judge Dredd showing on Five. Has anyone else noticed the excessive compression that's being applied on the 2d signal?

This shows up especially on face shots when the movement is slow. The various parts of the face (ears, nose, eyes, etc) appear to dance slightly as they follow each other around the face.

Is this a $ly problem or something of Five's doing?
