You need a ruddy miracle!

Geography gets in the way - the American birds are below our western horizon* If you want to watch American TV you move stateside.

* except for one at 61W. Someone reported getting a solitary very weak Dish TV test card off it in the far west of Ireland with a 2.4m dish

If you have broadband there are an increasing number of US TV channels through the phone line.

My System: Sky+ Multiroom,Thompson PVR, Dreambox 7000S, 300gig HDD, 1.1m Dish, Moteck SG-2100A DISEQC Motor, Gemini image, 2g USB Stick.

A defender of the Remote Control Brigade, Sir R can flick channels faster than a Robben dive

its the one hope that most satellite enthusiasts have... being able to pick up american channels... unfortunatley the birds they put in orbit are shared mostly with Australia, so they are in orbit between the two countries.... 2 far for us to reach
sharing between Australia and the USA is cheaper for them.... europeans want channels in there own language.

maybe some billionaire will launch a bird halfway between and bounce the signal round to us

i wont hold my breath....
