Sky by Broadband - p2p service?

Heres something to consider and watch if you have signed up to the sky by broadband service and have a capped bandwidth connection.

Discussion on the DS forum indicates that it installs the equivalent to a p2p client - which doesnt close when you shut the programme down!

The relevant discusison is here if you want to go and have a look:

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Interesting, must say that I hadn't read the T&Cs at all, not so sure if i like the idea of installing a Sky or BBC sponsored P2P app on my PC, in fact I don't think that I'll be getting involved with that at all.

I have no trust in other users who may have access, be it only iniotially limited to my data, it won't take too long for some clever script kiddy to find a way into hijacking the software.
