My System: DreamBox 7000s - Nokia Freeview - Several GameBoys - DS Lite - ZX81 - SNES - N64 - Sega Saturn Dreamcast - PlayStation - Gamecube - PSP - iPod - iPhone - XBox - PS3 - Wii - No Life! | Satellite feeds are the 'raw' unedited pictures sent to broadcasters. These can sometime be received on home equipment. Aes (Advanced Encryption Standard) and Softcam (Software Conditional Access Module) k*ys are the same just different names. | ||

Blog Entries: 3 My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum. | They are as Gameboy says, the raw transmissions from news gatherers and outside broadcasts, they are uplinked to a particular satellite in their unedited form for mixing by the broadcaster. They are normally transmitted as single channels taking up the whole of a transponder/frequency. If you look down in the Transponders and Channels section, there is a thread by Satdude, which gives you some frequencies on the different satellites to check out.
