I'm having trouble finding one for this DiSEqC motor, does anyone know of one?

Best price on Ebay is about £60 including delivery and bank transfer fee from sr-tronic.de

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Well it looks pretty much identical to the Moteck SG-2100, so you may find one of those more readily.

Not quite the same. The FTE has a 55mm tube diameter and its maximum dish weight is 27kg, which should mean it's significantly more robust than the bog standard Motec.

I guess it's Ebay then!

There are three types of Moteck, one with a 50mm tube one with 52mm and one with 57mm and all of them carry the same dish size recommendations, it isn't the diameter of the tube which is critical, it is what is driving it and how it is attached.

PS. Just looked at the spec foe the older Moteck SG-2100, that one has a 55mm tube, so it will possibly be a clone of the old one http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/...5&d=1112208919

Thanks for the good information.

Will be going with the newer Moteck then. Read in another thread that the quality of the U-bolts is poor and they may need to be changed, but I'm prepared for that.

Yes they (the U bolts) are not the best, but from experience they are OK if not over tightened, also a little vaseline or grease on them will possibly avoid any future problems.
