Horse called Big Tits could run in UK

The Jockey Club says it may not be able to stop a French horse called Big Tits from running in the UK.

The three-year-old filly had her first run out last month, finishing ninth out of 12 runners at Longchamp.

Spokesman for the Jockey Club, John Maxse, said French authorisation for the name meant the horse could run in Britain, says The Sun.

The Jockey Club tries to ensure all names are above board. Weatherbys, who control the registration of horses, insist on no swear words or rude names, among other rules.

Big Tits' trainer Elie Lellouche said: "We were having a family lunch and were trying to come up with ideas. My son suggested Gros Nichons, but that wouldn't have got past France Galop, so we decided on the English equivalent."

Racing pundit John McCririck joked: "I'd personally lay her. Imagine the fun the public and the bookies would have. She'd be the best backed horse in history."
