This is not a joke email, there are no funny pop-ups...

A website has been brought to my attention that may pose a risk. The
website is www.b4usearch.com and by clicking on 'People' and typing in
an individuals name and area it brings up their home address, phone
number, details of other members in the household, details of neighbours
in the same street and also directions to your home.

I would advise that if your details can be accessed via this website,
that you have them removed. To do this send an email to
privacy@b4u.co.uk and your request should be removed within 21 days if
they are not removed within this time you can complain to the
Information Commissioner's Office by sending an email to
compliance@ico.gsi.gov.uk

Please pass this on to others you may consider it is useful to....

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

Its not very accurate - 4 out of the 9 houses in our hamlet are missing completely

If thats the sort of accuracy they can muster its not much to worry about.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Don't particularly like these type of sites, it looks like they are using the local phone book and possibly the commercial version of the electoral roll as a database.

I guess that it's yet another site trying to insinuate themselves into the search process, I must get two new service/company finders a month, trying to tell me that they have hundreds of people searching for my services.
