My System: Technomate TMS-1500 CI+ "patched" receiver, 90cm p/f 36v motorised dish, Inverto C120 0.3db LNB, Moteck V-Box 2, Packard Bell 6052 XP Home computer, Toshiba A60 laptop, and lots of Russian Vodka !
Smile Beer, Wine, and Spirits !

I just wonder what do you do when things are not going right, you can't get the right channel on your receiver, the computer is playing up, do you like myself turn to the demon drink to calm your nerves and steady your hand.
If you do then let us know what is your favorite drink. It can be a pint at the local, canned beer, wine, or maybe a drop of the hard stuff. Tell us what it is where you brought it, and maybe some light hearted tales after drinking a little to much.
You don't have to be a connoisseur, but share with us as to where one can find something beautiful to drink. a)(2

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

I seem to find that nothing goes wrong with the equipment until after I've had the tipple.

Normally Fosters or similar, £13.99 per case of 24 x 500ml at the local Threshers.

After 12 litres of Fosters I would be having difficulty with knowing which of the two satellite systems is the working one.

My preference depends on
1) What Ive already had earlier
2) If a bottle is already open in the near vicinity
3) If someone else is buying
