My System: PC, Pansat
Question FTA n/g in US now

Looks like the move to Nagravision 2 has really busted up the modded-FTA fraternity. I'm wondering whether to sell my Pansat now or hang on in case someone comes up with a new BIN.
What alternatives?
1. Invest in a much higher speed internet connection and a TV output card and download what I want to watch using Torrent or Usenet.
2. Wait and hope someone cracks NV2. (yawn)
3. Look into getting e.g., a Dreambox. Question with that, is what sharing networks exist, if any, on this side of the Atlantic?
4. See what European-coded transponders are receivable on this side. Suggestions?

Nagravision2 was busted all to bits just a few short weeks back. Anything that Kudelski can have cobbled together in that amount of time shouldn't be regarded as unbreakable (even if it is!).

Have a little faith and a little patience, and fill in (as you say) with a touch of downloading or a trip to blockbusters!

The satellite scene is very bright just under the surface... no, really!
