Just a quick hello...

Well i've been wanting to post for a while, but it's a big scary world out here, although this forum appears to be one of the most friendly!

Anyway, just thought i'd introduce myself to the forum, i've decided to see what else satellite tv has to offer apart from what Sky has to offer, also i've had enough of giving them alot of money every month for nearly 10years. it'll also be nice to get rid of the telephone extension cable to upstairs that i can't ever seem to hide ! (end rant!)

i've got a new 80cm dish on the wall and SS2 in PC over the weekend, just waiting for motor and lnb to arrive, then fingers crossed it'll all come together........

Welcome curly-paul

Seven months to make your first post is nowhere near the record I'm afraid. I believe that it's something in the order of 2 years (this was before non-posting newbies were placed in stasis).

Hope it's not another 7 months before your next post!
