I loved some of the old yanks TG....i used to have a road runner!....it did alf go too...punctured two tyres at the Pod doin a massive burn out in the car park.....(used to take spare wheels with me!..if fact quite alot of us did just to have a bit of fun)....one year at Run What You Brung.....i took a Suzuki Gt750 (water bottle) up there.. my mates suggested i lit the back wheel up..of course i obliged and while doin so sprayed loads of rubber over the interior in the open back of a custom van!......needless to say mates an myself quickly found ourselves another place to spectate!..

Ahhh Santa Pod - best track in Britain

Also done the Ramsey Sprint a couple of times (only 200m or so), the VF has a nice low first gear compared to the modern (its 20 years old) bikes, so it can often show them a thing or two.

Getting it just right (front wheel a couple of inches off the deck for the first two gears and 100m), takes time to get just right. 0-60Mph in a shade under 3 seconds, 0-100 is about 4.3, and a quarter comes up in 11 seconds dead.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"

My Honda
Good nippy machine, but don't like the clumbersome hard top add-on which takes two people to fit. Soft top works a treat in decent weather though
Mind you, it does look better with hard top fitted, and it's the only option for this weather!

2.0l V-Tech but it has more go than you'd expect. The 240bhp is decent enough. doing 90 in a 40 zone can be quite touch&go, but it's got good brakes.

It's a pity it isn't actually mine though It's a collegue's, but I've had a few lifts in it, and I'm definately getting one of these one day
Heck, I haven't even got a license yet

I was going to leave it a few more days, but I'm one of those honest folk who can't stand it even if it's for good fun
