Or rather, part of an e-mail sent to my wife from a friend. They are comparing gas / electricity prices in UK and Malta  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have recently evaluated the most competitive dual-fuel deals and those which promised to save me money turned out to be more expensive! We now buy our telephone service from the ice cream van: our water from the egg man; our eggs from the gas company and our gas from the gardener. It becomes very confusing. The other morning I turned on the tap to fill the kettle and some eggs fell out. I could also smell the electricity escaping from the shower. Turned on the hob to cook breakfast and water jets shot up! Flushed the loo and coal fell into the pan.
