I've just heard a radio plug for Growing Pains, Billie Piper's autobigraphy, out soon I believe.

She's ............ (only just) 24 years old !

My System: Sky+ Pace v3, and before that analouge 80cm dish with Prima by Pace box pointed at 19.2e (not very imaginative then!)

Does make you laugh, these celebs having an autobiography so young. Didn't Drew Barrymore have one when she was 14yo?

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Well I guess that it depends on the person, some people's lives can provide enough for a book in a few years and require several editions to cover the whole span, take Clive James for example, whereas many would struggle to fill a couple of chapters from their whole life.

Yes (Rolf) , the Clive James memoirs are very interesting (and candid). I also like his The Observer tv criticism (re-published as books: Crystal Bucket, etc), all on what is now out of date archived stuff, but still interesting, especially if you get DVD sets. His comments on Star Trek are particularly good.

Here's Clive's latest in a rather more concise form

That's a rather nasty review !

This is (a bit) fairer:
