Do you leave a tip at the barbers?

I never know if I should or not.

When I do, it feels odd, but I would feel guilty not

Paid £6 for a cut today and didn't leave a tip, but this is mainly because they short changed me last time (but that was probably accidentally). I felt kind of guilty as I left.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

The issue doesn't arise for me, as what hair I do have, is cut to 3mm using my electric trimmer.

However I always used to, but then so would most of us, as she was a little cracker.

I think anyone who DIY's their hair in 4 minutes *cough* user above with beard - will, most likely, end up with tram lines.

When I still thought I could do something with my hair, I paid 17quid for a 'Number 3' cut. About a year later I bought my first Wahl clippers (they were about the same price as a single trip to my local Soho Hair-Design tralala).

Haven't looked back (or via a mirror - at the back) since.

Usually do a total shave/razzor job about once a year. I find it a very invigorating experience. Have learnt not to do so in the summer. You sweat like a pig, LOL.

Don't worry Mark you will soon get the hang of it
Of course being of the old school I still firmly believe that there is no substitute for many years of experience so never a tramline in sight
