Good idea Dig', we had a small meeting of mods a couple of years ago in Birmingham, but circumstances have meant that we haven't repeated the exercise.

Yeah, lets get together! But if everybody is supposed to come we should make it not too far off Stanstead Airport. It means that the mods from the continent or Sweden can hop on a relatively cheap flight.

I travelled from Bad Harsburg to Frankfurt on an 80cc Honda once, so Cologne shouldn't be too much trouble.

Yes it is! I tell you what, Cologne is well known for its beer, called Koelsch. They got lots of Breweries there, and most of them have a pub with food next to them. You can organise a visit to the brewery itself.

Anyway, go to this link and get yourself aquinted with cologne
http://www.xs4all.nl/~patto1ro/kolnbrew.htm

My favourite by the way is http://www.muehlenkoelsch.de/
but you got to have flash player

Probably a bridge too far Marts.

Also, I might add that Stansted is a pain in the backside to get to, from pretty much anywhere in the UK apart from Stansted.

So true! Still, it's gotta be the nicest "London" airport. Heathrow and Gatwick seriously give off 'sick building syndrome' vibes!!

There's some good deals to Iceland at the moment. That's got to be neutral territory and who doesn't want to go to that country!?!

No cryptic sub-message, just that we've all had lots of things going on and it has tended to slip down the priority scale.

Jimbo and Channel Hopper and I haven't even had one of our Windsor coffee mornings for a while, it's always one of those "we must get around to it soon" type of things.

I don't think we'll have one this side of Christmas, as it definitely couldn't be this month (too little notice for most people) and December is too full of works Christmas parties.

As Dig says above, Toe is having a do in Birkenhead on the 9th of December and I'm sure that a few from here will be going, may even make it myself, although it is up in the air at the moment.
