My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

I can buy the F type connectors for a reasonable price from Sateuropa, but I would like an integrated solution with the three types.

How long is the cable run iwol? If it is around 10m then the difference will be about half a Db.

OK, then you may gain a db or so at the receiver, but it won't be a huge gain.

Well if you have say 65db at present, then you may read 66db after changing the coax.

Where to buy cable

Hi RD100 or anyone who maybe in the trade.

Where is the best place to buy copper on copper decent quality Coax in the uk? I'd be looking to buy around 500m each time and have it sent through royal mail?

I usually use TLC or CPC

Cheers

Nick

I use Alltrade, but surely it would be better buying form one of the Italian trade suppliers, would have thought that the shipping would have been less.

I have used the Bieffe cables in the past and liked the quality, they actually have a distributor in Greece as well. http://www.bieffecavi.com/index.php?...&pag=rete.html
