My System: Nokia Decoder 28" TV
Eurosport woes...

Just got a Nokia 780 IRD for my dad who wants to watch Eurosport. Trouble is the Eurosport channel has no sound. I've tried all sound channels but no use - not even a hiss! Other channels are fine. Ironic that the only channel he wants doesn't work fully...


Any ideas anybody?

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

You may have inadvertently set the decoder circuit to 'on', or 'MAC' for that channel, which will mute the sound.

Eurosport Germany is fta in digital on 19E. In German ONLY

Eurosport 2 is not fta anywhere.

Should pick it up. My porty dish drags it in lovely. I watch the analogue when I want commentary and digital when the pic is more important.

You might just struggle a bit in bad weather on 19e with a minidish.
I was watching the wintersports this morning on digital. The rain came down and the picture went. Swapped to analogue and although the picture was "sparkly", I could finish watching my progs.
Just hope the rain slows this afternoon. I need my fix of ski jumping.
