Falconsat have got my money

I ordered a dish from Falconsat and no dish has appeared, I rang them and they said I would get a refund. No refund appeared. Now the website has dissapeared and they dont answer the telephone.
Anyone else get ripped off. I paid with nochex and they dont want to know either.

Hi Cliveastro,
it looks like they're either having problems with their web site or the company is in trouble, I suggest you try telephoning them again tomorrow and if you still don't get a reply check with BT to see if there is a problem with the line.
If you used a credit card they should cover you for any loss incurred, if not then, if the company is in trouble, you are just another creditor and unlikely to get your money back, if you did use a credit card I suggest you contact them, after trying to contact falconsat, and explain the situation.
Best wishes
Mickha

Nochex have passed the complaint to their fraud section. They have emailed Falconsat and asked them to refund the money, if this doesnt happen after 48hours it will become a Police matter.

A quick update.
I now have my money refunded, this strangely coincided with a visit by Trading Standards.
Enfield Trading Standards are incredibly helpfull.

Nice that you got a positive result there Cliveastro.

Our resident BBC Watchdog - rolf - should be thanked for publishing these fly-by-night co. details - especially if they lead to positive results/recourse.
