Today I returned home from work and my wife had put the wheely bin out
and the blue and green tubs. It is normally my job but I am forbidden to lift at
the moment. As I started to go upstairs to bed I noticed a pile of junk
mail behind the door and a couple of crimbo cards from neighbours.
Wow am I glad I bothered to pick all that up as when I did I found a
card from some dimwit delivery guy which said 1 box green tub at side.
I quickly ran outside with a torch and opened the green tub and took
out the parcel. Now I ask you it is dark when I go to work and dark
when I return so why would a delivery guy put a parcel in my recyling bin?

I would claim on the post insurance. The card says "in the bin" - for all you know the dustbinmen came between the time he/she "deposited" said parcel in the bin and the time you got back.

Or just get onto the sender and give them the sob (bin) story: you might get two out of it ;-))

Uuuumm, two? Hope it wasn't a toy for the wife ,-((

Joke!!

.

Have Fun, Moo.

I've heard of that happening around here too.

It's slightly better than citylink. I once came home and found my ebuyer parcel happily enjoying a sunny afternoon on the front door step. Checked the online tracking thing and it said I had signed for it...

The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken!

Can't be as bad as CityLink destroying a PC I built a couple of years back, the CPU heatsink had broken off due to the box being hurled about (there is NO way in hell that a heatsink would fall off like that!!! It broke the bloomin' clip on the CPU socket!!!), and subsequently the heatsink bashed up the motherboard and CPU to the point where it was destroyed and completely useless, and the customer was very p155ed off!!!

Did you know that they actually have their own brand of wine called "Van du Vin"? Explains a lot really...
