What do you get when you bolt a supercharged 1,000bhp engine, hitherto found under the bonnet of a four-wheel-drive monster truck, into a home-made motorbike chassis? Most people would probably say “trouble” or possibly “a ride in an ambulance”. But for engineer Nick Argyle, it seemed the obvious thing to do when tinkering with some bits in his garage one day. Looks like the sort of thing we see regularly on our trips to the Santa Pod raceway. Oh, along with 500bhp Cortina's Jet propelled pushbikes and the best one ever...... a Fiat 126 fitted with a big block chevvy. Complete with 15" propshaft doing 9 second 1/4 miles Suppose it beats twin engined 2cv's. (sorry, couldn't resist)
