right ive still not received this... and its been 47 years!!!

well OK, slight exaggeration

Ebay will pay £54 back only.... but talk about making it awkward to get it!!
they want..

We need proof of your payment for the item in question. It must clearly show that the seller has received payment
for this item from you. We will accept the following as proof of payment:

- PayPal payment confirmation email
- photocopy of a receipt, banker’s draft, personal cheque
- bank or credit card statement showing debit amount and name of payment recipient

If you have already received reimbursement for this item from PayPal or your credit card provider, you’re not
eligible for Ebay Standard Purchase Protection. Please send proof that you have not received compensation
for this item from PayPal or your credit card company:

copy of letter from your credit card provider denying reimbursement

i also have 14 days, or the claim is rejected!!

The Paypal insurance system is a scam, and the Ebay refund system is a con on top of a con.

I don't know about Nochex, but it sounds like a Paypal scamalike as well.

your going to have to stick to your guns on this one,a fax machine will come in handy too, expect the same questions all ending in proof that the item was paid for when its been supplied before and you will lose £15 processing fee, this is one side of Ebay they dont want you to see.good feedback and time registered is no real guarantee as many have seen good sellers turn bad in the past.

Yeah, I think this might be a better course of action if all else fails.

I'm still waiting for a MicroSD card for a mobile, ordered last week. If it don't come today, questions will be asked! You'd think the World Bank, or whoever is meant to be in charge, would sort Ebay out, their claims system is a disgrace.

UPDATE - Got the card, thankfully!

With 600 + feedbacks it would be difficult not to think the seller was genuine, but we all know feedback can be manufactured to look good.
Ebay is a breeding ground for scum and you have to be careful, but at the end of the day have to trust peeps as well so a difficult one.
I always use nochex but tbh have not had a problem yet, what is nochex's procedure in cases like this?-PP

i contacted Nochex, and they have replied with the following

Dear Sheldon,

Thanks for your message.

I can confirm that you made a payment of £75.98 to the email address dodgydealer@ripoff.com on 21/4/07 and that this payment has not been refunded

Umm, the Support ticket page i have printed off, and will post with my signed Ebay stuff... however i feel that this will be rejected by Ebay .

like i said i have 14 days.... after 8 of which, i fly off to Cuba!

My feedback is only 95 with 100% but i have to say that most people on Ebay are quite decent... as usual its the minority spoiling it for the rest.

PS thats not his real email address... but it should have been LOL
