Spin Fantastic Documentary "Spin" from around 1992 about how the US news media spun the elections and news events of the time. Collected using satellite feeds from the time. Last edited by remlap; 07-05-2007 at 01:18 AM

My System: Motorised dish, dvd players and recorders; a freeview box, broadband, VCRs, four TVs, mobiles, pcs, a mac, Ipod, digital cameras...the lot! | A famous one was doing a telephone poll of who was gonna vote. It came in wrong, because only the rich and well off could afford phones in those days. Something like that anyway. Just goes to show you, you can't always get your facts and numbers right.

My System: 28e, 19e, 13e, 30w | I agree it's a great film. I saw a few years ago, and I've still got it on a DVD somewhere. It was (is?) available to download in good quality (not great, as the source material - the feeds off of presumably a VCR?) from a website which I think was connected to the maker(s). I think it was about 2GB and was just a regular link to download. I especially liked the Larry King feeds. I can't figure that guy out politically - which is the way it should be for a guy who hosts a flagship show on a news channel!
