Usb To Rs232???

My System: AZbox HD Gibertini 85cm dish 4 way Diseqc switch........ linksys access point connected to Azbox..
Arrow Usb To Rs232???

Hi guys....
recently bought a new laptop but discovered today it does not have a serial port for updating my at box...will a USB TO RS232 work for transfering the info from the laptop to the box???

My System: Dusty Dreambox 7000s, & Sky HD.

They dont work 100% ..I have one works with the cas 2 but wont work with the serial port to a manhattan receiver. Works on the dreambox serial though.

thanks jg...will buy one to try anyway..only £1.99 + postage on Ebay....looks like the boys in blue have it wrapped up today 1 up when I last heard..

A little tip regarding the installation of your lead, do not let windows install the drivers, they will not work, these leads are not plug n play, you must use the drivers on the disc supplied, I have seen numerous post on other forums with people complaining that there loaders cannot find a com port to use and when questioned, they admit to letting windows inatall the driver, which it does but it has nothing to do with the lead you are using.

Hi,
I have Edision 2120 Cx and she work very hell with may laptop.
The cable USB/RS232 it's a SWEEX and cost 22,00 €.

Im nearly sure I installed the drivers off the Disc and still got problems.. but only on some receivers. Might try another installation again just to be sure.
