Eurosport/ESPN

Hello everybody,

There's someone in a greek board asking for Eurosport and ESPN in English. Lyngsat shows up that Meo has this choice.

My questions:

1.) Is there any difference compared to Eurosport and ESPN on Sky UK ?
2.) Is English available all day and night long ?
3.) Are there any dealers that can sell Meo subscriptions outside of Portugal ? If so how much would it roughly cost ?
4.) Does the card run also on other receivers without problems or is it paired to the subscription receiver ? What about the HD channels ?
5.) Would you prefer Meo or an other package if we just speak of picture quality of these 2 channels ?

Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards.

My System: Gibertini OP120 + Inverto Black Premium Twin @ 28.2E

To summarize there are a few packages that list Eurosport HD and Espn Classic Europe with English Audio.
These are:
D-Smart on TurkSat 2A (42.0E)
Cyfra+ on Hotbird 7A (13.0E)
Cyfrawy Polsat
Canal Digital Nordic on Thor 5 (0.8W)
Hello HD on Eurobird 9 (9.0E)
Sky Digital on Astra 2B (28.2E)

Interested in English audio without any subtitles...
By the way, the greek guy it's me.
Thank you, deepbluesky, I appreciate your help.

I know and sorry for that but i don't speak Portuguese and i neither believe that anybody is capable to answer these very special questions in the English section. Would be very kind if anybody of the subscribers could give a short answer.

Your best choice is probably D-Smart.
The Polish packages are very expensive outside Poland.
Try to find a shop that sells it, perhaps in Greece or in your next trip to Turkey. It is just round the corner.
