Having bluetooth drain battery?

If I have bluetooth on 24/7 on my mobile and pda does the battery drain quicker or amkes no difference.?

Doesn't seem to make any difference on my Nokia 6310 Shahid, I have mine on all of the time for my bluetooth hands free in the van.

Shahid,

I use to have a sony ericcsson 610 with bluetooth and it did affect the life of my battery, it use to go flat within about a day and a half
I suffer from a split personality and cant be held responsible for what he says...

blue tooth not only kills my battery on the t610, but also the phone some how beleives the blue tooth is connected 24/7 hence i now have difficulty in making or receiving calls with out blue tooth, callers cannot here me.
Maybe i need a new phone
