unlocking iphone 3G 16 GB,with Itunes,possible?

yesterday i got my iphone 3g 16G by my mobilphone operator!
now i read on google,that it shuold posible ,with a special dealer version of itunes above 7.6 to unlock it!
on Ebay they are selling special thinn unlock cards,but the dont work in umts mode,my local dealer told me,curencly,he can only change,the lock to another operator,one time modify the bootloader,but not complytly lockfree,does anyone more,what tools and steps for windwos are reqeiered ?
curencly i have no mac computer..!

Hi Turok...I'm afraid a software unlock is not available at the moment and I have read that the hardware unlock will damage your phone.I am a member on an iphone forum to which I can pm you the link where you can gain all the knowledge you need..you can however jailbreak the phone to run the latest apps with a windows application called winpwn (pronounced winown) .contact me if you need info.

in the meantime,a search a little bit,and order this simcard,that currencly unlock nearly 400 mobilphones

the only problem,the simcard chip must be cutted,to put in together with this hacker sim in the 3G!

prolem on this xsim card IV is that you must cut the gold chip your orginal simcard,!

Being that you quoted my reply to turok I can only assume you were directing your reply to me...Fair enough.

Clarification ...In October 2006 I asked the admin Rowlf to check out a live link in that particular post because it was linking directly to pirated software...
In my reply to Turok there is no live link just an offer for him to PM me so I could offer him some information,it doesn't state anywhere in the rules that I can't do that....Jailbreaking and unlocking an iphone is not illegal and the software I mentioned on the post is not illegal.The cracked apps however are illegal but I didn't mention on this post how to recieve them, what somebody does after they jailbreak their iphone is not for me to criticise or comment on.....
The reason I asked turok to PM me outside the post is because the site I was pointing him to had links to cracked applications, which as we all know is against the forum rules.
I don't want this to turn into a war of words, if you did take offence to my original post then apologies, and if I need to be smacked on the wrist by one of the admins so be it.

From what I understand about this forum I must not say too much, lol.
Yes I do want to be able to use my Iphone both in England (my home country) and in Vietnam where I now work but I need more info than just using different sim cards. I'm not sure if this "Turbo Xsim" is even available here in Vietnam.
