Extracting 'Photos from G3

Hello All

SWMBO has bought a ZTE F866.

It has a built in camera, but it seems the only way to extract the 'photos i to Email them

It has small flat port about 1/2 the size of a USB port which is used for charging.

Is there any way to extract the 'photos from the SIM with a reader of some sort?

Or any other ideas

Regards

W. Hole

My System: Various digiboxes, broken Nokia 9800S, numerous analogue boxes. My lovely little lappy, HP Omnibook 6100

Don't know what your phone is but if t's anything like mySamsung D500 I had to purchase a special cable to connect the phone to the USB port. I downloaded the required software from the Samsung site (the CD programs which came with the cable were out of date) and voila.

Try a search on Ebay for your make and model of phone and USB as keywords.

Thanks PR

Nothing there I'm afraid.

Just wondered how difficult it might be to 'Read' the SIM card.

Sim cards can be read separately (although I'm not so sure about G3 cards as some work at a different voltage I believe), however you won't find any photos there.

In the absence of a seperate memory card inserted into a slot all the photos will be stored in ithe 10Mb nternal memory so youll either have to email then or find a cable.

You could always try a 3 shop for a cable of course!

Right, I've done some searching.

According to this the phone is actually a Motorola C975 so I did a search on that. Take a look here - I think that's what you want.
