Linked TV Problems

I have an intermittent problem with my 2 linked TVs.At times the remote control will not select down. This makes it difficult to select the program you require.my system is SKY + .To cure the problem I have replaced the following :--- Sky box. Remote controls/Batteries.Lead to the loft amplifier from the Sky box.Splitter amplifier.Tried a power amplifier.Tried new eyes. Replaced cables to both linked TVs.Replaced all cable connectors. The leads to each TV are max 9mts. Is there a cure ???

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Is this on both TVs? have you something in the room/rooms which may be emitting a spurious infrared signal?

Hi. I think the problem may have been sorted. Rolf mentioned spurious Infra red problems. I have placed the Link eyes 2mts away from the linked TVs and so far all seems ok but I will see how it goes over the next few days. Many thanks Steve B
