Reliance BIG TV DTH Signals being beamed KU BAND in India through MEASAT -3 satellites @91.5*E. Right now they are using 8 transponders for 37 channels, where SAHARA & few FTA channels are in air.

Theres a press release hare:

which says Antrix/ISRO has leased 8 tp's on Measat 3, and the satellite certainly has an Indian beam

However the Blue Reliance service will use MPEG4 so normal receivers will be useless with the service - MPEG4 receivers will be needed. They will also use the ultra secure NDS Videoguard encryption.

I think all the Upcoming DTH services are in MPEG4.
If the MPEG4 Receivers (Not by the Service Provider) available in the market.

No problem for DVB-S card owners. Wt ever encoding they can use we can decode it through s/w. I'll try with my SS2 today & let you know.

Hello Memberxxxx

I'm confused now

I'm not getting all the TPs but confused whether those are from Measat3/Big TV Are the test signals are also ENCRYPTED wirh SECAM ? I'm getting few channels with secam encrypted. Are those from Big Tv ? They should test signal for 2-3 months in FTA mode

Pradhan Bro...! Its from Big Tv, & They are FTA, I have checked out the Enc...! The FTA Channels are Even in MPEG4 , I think you had seen my pics.

Bro You cant receive the signal on Normal STB. I mention it before its MPEG4 Dear.
