Yes all channels have great picture quality (except DD Malyalam..lol) and picture presentation too.

Zee smile, 9XM, Total news, etc disappeared from DDDirect+. only 40 channels are available against 50 earlier.

is there fault in my dish system or one TP has been removed

No there are some problems with this TP of DD DTH.Some times there is no signal or signal is extremely weak.

Hi,

I am in S.A. and am receiving DDNews & DD India on FTA. Is 9X also FTA and if so what can i do to receive it ?

On another note, I used to receive B4U Movies and B4U Music FTA, but since it has move to Asiasat 3S I do receive it any longer ?

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Dear satlearner,You probably are receiving the DD channels on with satellite Intelsat 10 @ 68.5.This discussion pertains to reception of satellite Insat 4B@93.5E which as per map of reception does not cover your region,though there is theoratic possibility of reception with big dish.
The transmission of B4U channels,though FTA on Asiasat 3S@105E is almost useless to many of us as it uses MPEG4,the MPEG4 FTA receivers are not easily available in India.

See, DD DTH+ is at 93.5E and DishTV is at 95E.
So, you have to point your dish in between them, may be at 94E, then you will get all the signals from both the satellites. Just goto your STB and add TPs of both satellites and scan. You will get all channels of DDDirect+ and DishTV

I am receiving other channels from insat 4b, I have updated my tp list latest from fastsatfinder. I am very sure that it is not coming. lyngsat data seems old.
