just got a diablo cam light to try out on the pace and i
must say its rubbish it crashes on firmware 232

if you going for a cam get a trex or dragon at lease you dont need to
wipe the box everytime you flash the cam

hope a firmware from pace helps this

anyone konw how to set one off these boxs up with a moter ???? cant get it to work at all

right its a bit hard to do but easy after a while .
depending on what motor u got . d1.2 or usal motor
first off find 1 west as a ref point or 13east . once you done that do a factory reset and scan ur ref point sat as a single lnb .once done that and ur channels are done
go to menu and select new channels move it to disqe1.2 you then get all the sats in the list . select each one you want when tuned go back to new channels in menu and hope it dont crash the box

. on some motors you have to manual find the sat by selecting find sat go manual dont let it do it on its own . as on my its when to far east and snap my wire

hope that helps for the time been . the most i got i is 4 sats astra 19 astra 28 and 1 west . before the it fills up .

great hd box but the software is very buggy

one last thing if you had the motor on a another box and the sat postion are stored in the motor it should work straight away

Once again, great update info on the Pace.

So, can we get a confirmation that the T-Rex with Predator firmware is working with the new firmware on pace 1.0.35(pics of the Pred. menu working on the Pace)?

firmware on trex cam is predverde working ok and drogon cam firmware 3.62..."? Can we get a confirmation the you can access the Pred. menu, insert new k*ys, and do new update to the Pred firmware with a Dragon card(ex. 3.62 to 3.63), without crashing, freezes, pausing, etc.? Does it work with a Sly card?

firmware 364 lets u in the cam for 3 secs then crashes making you unplug the main power .. no firmware at present lets you in the trex and dragon cam on a pace ds810xe as for my sky card thats a no no on both my cams crashes or its just my free to view card so no ch4 hd 4 me

emailed pace support to start a new firmware as when i scan for channels on other sats i nw have to unplug the mains or reset the box to get it back on

so the more people that complain about the firmware the faster pace fix this lovely box

just got hold off the new 364 pred from dream pirates

played around with the keys and it worked on one line turn off box and got in 2nd line then reboot box . works . took a few trys mind u .

as for sky box serial worked first time but tex cam dont like my card

(so we getting there .. i let you know when i test the atlantis software
if this works )

I'm interested in getting one of these boxes. However I have an older non-hdmi screen (an NEC plasma beast).

I could either use a hdmi->dvi lead or the component output, but my question is, will the Pace box output 720p over either of these interfaces with this setup?

Or will it grey out the hdmi output options, and only do 576i or something over component?

I'm irritated with Pace too 'cos they charge £1.50 for their pdf user manual, how incredibly stingy, and I might end up not buying the box because I can't see in advance what it can do!!! Pull your fingers out, guys!!!

yes it would easy as for the manul you wanted thats a load off junk to read .. you get 720 easy thats all the pace box does even at 1080 it still looks the same on anychannel

Does the crashing you report only occur when the CAM is used,

diablo cam is now working on pace .. using version 237 firmware

how to use set the cam up .
make sure all settings in the cam is on apart from cw fixed /card message off

do a factory restall on the pace box
scan astra 19.2 or hot bird

once done select your working package and insert cam
if it comes up with wrong ci take it out and reinsert it
make sure all keys are working . if not input them in cam
and reinstall the cam in ci slot

as for dragon cam update still not letting in menu still
come on diablo

i assume this only applies to diablo lite cam not the wireless cos ive had no luck in getting pace working with diablo wireless?

it was for the diablo cam lite model as we never tryed the wireless
model to try .

only probelm now we having is the autoupdate

so now . we are stopping our support to get cams working propely
due to the fact the pace firmware is so rubbish . fed up with our box crashing ..

so in the meantime the pace hd is a free to view box only by us

well i can tell you..the diablo wireless does not work with pace...toally locks it or reboots it....seems to be a current issue prob reqs more current than the lite cam...

It is more than obvious that the fault is in the Pace's firmware that cannot handle the signals from the CAM's(sort'a like the Nokia issue). Pace should look at this fault very seriously if they want to continue selling(of what little they can) the Pace 810 model. If there is no interest from Pace in updating these issues, for sure the 810 will lose public interest and die among the other models that cannot support multicrypt CAM's.
