You can make the same LNB rail as Hakan as he used the same LNB holders that are sold on Ebay in Germany.

Ebay 200195955969

Then you just buy the aluminium rail from any metal workshop.

Well you have not made it yourself and yes it's the same, anyone can see that from the picture below, the rail you can buy from any workshop.

I have never said that i have made the LNBholders for myself?? The item you had in your first post was not the same.
But i can tell, the idea and finding out how to use them at my T-90 is all mine. There has been many wishes for better LNBholders for the T-90 but yet i have not seen anyone who have solved the problem, untill i got this idea.
The reason that i have not posting were to buy is that my reseller had them out of stock for nearly 2 months,i bought the last one in the middle of dec.

Very nice work Hakon. I have also experiences of motor antennas. I had Stab HH120 bought 2006. It worked first winter 2006/2007 but not the current one 2007/2008. Also SM3D12 were frozen to its place below -20 degrees.

I'm living in northern part of Finland where -20 degrees outside temperature very often when you want to be inside and watch TV rather than climbing on your slippery roof turning manually your antenna.

Then I also bought T-90.

Hi
I didn't understand all part in your answer,my english is not alltime so good.
But if you want 9e and 10e you might do as i have done.In most case you can use just 1 LNB for satellites that has up to 1,5 degrees between them.
So for 9/10e its no problem with the same LNB,i also grab 4/5w with 1 LNB.

Cheers

Hi
I have heard that there was a serie (for a few years ago) with motors from STAB that wasnt that good.
But today they are really good.

But i can tell, T-90 like it a lot

Are those brackets the ones Vantage produced a couple of years ago, I saw a test of them in Tele-Satellite a couple years ago and they got great revues. They look identical as far as I can see.

Excellent work Hakon

May i ask which frequencies do you get from 4W and 33E ? They look somehow difficult for Southern Sweden and your configuration.

Yes these birds are really tuff ones for the T-90,but i have some transponders that i can grab.
At 33e i cant get signal without BER
But at 4w i have the strongest transponders without BER and this is with an Dreambox 7020 and they are not fameus for there tuners.
4w is a hell to callibrate as i shall have signal from 5w to with same LNB.

Cheers

Thanks Hakon.

33E is a weird position. I've done some research for out of footprint behaviour so far in several boards. Very sharp edged beams, many low bandwidth narrow neighboured frequencies sharing the same transponder and often with high FEC values. This shows us that it's not a DTH satellite. Anyway, it's nice that there is some FTA stuff not regarding the quality at all of course. Do you only get 12647V or also the other Spot C frequencies 11027V/11053V/11139V/12522V/12739V ?

Some 4W and 5W frequencies are very close that's true. The problem in your location seems to be that 5W is compared to 4W (especially Amos 2 Europe Beam) extremely strong. Although the polarity is different the stronger frequencies seem to destroy the weaker ones. In Crete where the 4W Verticals are stronger than 5W Superbeam they have similar problems. So in your case i really wonder if you get all the Amos 2/3 Europe Beam frequencies.

In 33e i can only get the 12651 (eg 12647)
Im so far out of the LNB-guide that i think its nice with with just this transp.

In the case of the 4w it depends what time at the day i try,and if its nice weather.
Ex Sportclub is no prolem with 24/7
But 1 Plus 1 just sometime i am
I use 4w to test different LNB-make at my T-90.

But i need to recallibrate as we have had storm (up to33m/sec)for a few weeks ago

I also have to replace some LNB like the Maximum V1 they are realy crap in quality.
I prefer to use the Smart Titanium 2nd Edition

I see. Well the T90 is the cheapest way for getting most frequencies if the satellites are strong enough and not too far away one from the other. For your location quite a good choice. 33E is indeed at the edge but because of strong Spot C in your region (>50dbW if you are in the most southern corner of Sweden) i would have expected a better reception. 4W of course is another story because of the above.

The 33e is far outside from the T-90 kapacity as it is callibrated today.
If i have another
Imaginary central satellite as i have today the result for the 33e would be mutch better ,i belive. But then i have to take away both 22w and 18w
The left pic is the west LNB and the right pic is the east LNB

Suppose you've chosen 5E as the center position, right ?

No there are no sat in the middle 5e is at R 0,7 and 7e is at L -1,5.
I do the azimuth and elevation with the 5e at R0,7
Then the skew at 28,2 and 12,5w (far east and far west)
After that i check the elevation again.
I do the dish callibration with the original plastic LNB holders.
After that all the fun starts to put all LNB in place and finetune each LNB.
As i use the exellent PLi image in my DM 7020 i can use the PLi satfinder streamed to my laptop.
Its a hard work but someone has to do it

So your virtual center position is about 5.5E. I know it takes time to finetune the T90.

Here are two photos with my toroidal with 16 lnb.As you can see I chose between 42E and 7 W.My central position is on Astra 19.2E.As for satellites too close one another,i.e 26E ans 28E,and also 9E,7E and 5E,I altered lnb support ,cutting the edges I chose Alps,as you can see:

I use 4x4/1 diseqc switches 1.0{Gold}and 1x4/1 diseqc 1.1 {EMP-Centauri}

For tests I also use 2x8/1 diseqc 2.1{EMP} and 1x2/1 diseqc 1.1{Strong},and work with Yumatu receiver.

Configuration in receiver for diseqc 4x4/1 is for every switch is on diseqc 1.0{commited} and 1x4/1 is for diseqc 1.1{uncommited}.It look like this:

Exclamation 2 questions

Dear Hakon ,

you definitely inspired me....thank you .

I'm going to buy one but got 2 questions:

-I know the wave 90 does not have a diameter but what could it be according to you?
-Are U aware of diseqc Centauri 16 in 1 out ? What do you think about?

Thanks in advance
