Thanks for the photos...pink09

Is that an lnbf on the prime focus? and is the lnbf on the dish on the motor not aiming very low, even though you are receiving signals... you might be loosing quite a bit on both.

Very good. What satellite did you set up on reference out of interest?
Having a longitude of 27.4297° is somewhat ideal for Astra2 but out of footprint I believe.
Nice area and not too far from the Aydin region of which I know fairly well

Makes sense and assume Eurobird s1 beam is an easy catch with a 120cm.
Good going

Nice setup Okan.

I have some questions if you don't mind.

1.) On your 1.20m do you get full Badr 6 ?

2.) What about Astra 1H now after the changes to Astra 1M ?

3.) What about Astra 1F 11362H (DVB-S2) ?

4.) Is 28.5E/Eurobird 1 Fixed Beam beeing received properly or do you miss some frequencies ?

Answers are like this:

1. Yes. badr is full but some transponder weak signal e.g=11919 H 27500 3/4 =%30.

2. Astra 1m is very good signal quality = over %90

3. Astra 1F no signal

4. Eurobird 1 Fixed beam is ok (%45-50)., Eurobird 1 Steerable 1 is ok(%45-50)., Eurobird 1 Steerable 2 ok(%45-50).

(11642 V 27500 2/3 is my favourite.FTA and good signal).

***But I should tell this my "clapms" are not good so I lose some signals

Thanks for your reply Okan.

You've misunderstood my 2nd question. What i wanted to know was how Astra 1H is now after the launch of 1M, not 1M itself which is surely very strong. There are quite some people reporting about weaker signals now so it would be interesting to figure out which of the frequencies listed at http://www.lyngsat.com/astra1h.html you've got problems with.

Your dish size is too small for all 1H frequencies but you should be able to get some of the stronger at least part time. Since your 1.20m is motorized you won't have the needed LNB skew for 19.2E. If you optimize the LNB there, other positions will be received worse. Of course your dish arc should be 100% correct, otherwise you have no chance to get any frequency of the much weaker 1H. I cannot tell you which frequencies are stronger in Manisa but in Syros (250km SW of you) these were the values on a Gibertini OP150 on Aug 2nd in the morning:

11836 V 6.9 db S/N
11954 H 7.6
12051 V 9.9
12070 H 7.5
12090 V 10.8
10110 V 10.3
12129 V 11.6
12148 H 8.1
12168 V 11.2
12207 V 11.3
12246 V 10.7
12266 H 8.0
12285 V 10.9
12324 V 10.4
12344 H 7.8
12363 V 11.0
12402 V 9.5
12422 H 9.4
12460 H 9.1
12480 V 9.6
12552 V 10.9
12604 H 6.7
12640 V 8.4
12663 H 7.5
12692 H 6.3

Maybe the stronger ones there are also those at your location. Try not at night time where signal is going down, better in the morning.

If you need only DrDish there's also a webstream. For me it's also the only chance to watch it since a dish to 19.2E will never be possible where i live.

Nobody knows when the 1H frequencies will move to 1L/M. Maybe SES Astra waits for 1N to be set in service at 19.2E in 2011. We'll see.
