Yep, I was going to say that LOL,

Looks like you have the elevation scale set to your latitude.

( a common error)

My angle gauge says approx 50 degrees.

Funnily enough, typing South wales into Dishpointer gives a Latitude of 40 degrees, unfortunately that's the wrong one.

Yes your eyes are not lying to you, I have not finished yet.

Just waiting to get the correct receiver, as the supplier sent a 800 instead of a 7025

Hello

I plan to buy this dish to install on STAB HH100 motor. I wonder how much does it weight? Is it aluminum one that you have?

The Gibertini 100cm aluminium is very light and a HH100 will cope easy. If very exposed then consider polar mount for this dish, makes a nice set up either way

Thanks for your reply!
I wonder if my choice is the best one regarding what I will achieve. The purpose is to have the best signal from Eurobird 9 east Platforma HD . Today I have a 80 cm offset no-name dish which cannot give me the good signal enough to get DVB-S2 signals from this satellite. But it should be regarding the beam coverage in my location.
Maybe I am on a wrong way? Any advise are welcome!

The actual dish itself is light but the bracketing on the back is steel and weights a nice bit.14kg in total.

Well, it is above the manufacturer's recommendations which is 12 kg and 100 cm in diameter. I start doubting if I do a right choice.

Don't think your come into any problems with weight on that motor as long as your not in an exposed location.

Still cannot decide about new dish. What is the purpose of a polar-mount for Gibertini? Will it not work without it on my STAB HH100 motor?

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

KR
Polar Mount is required when you use an Actuator as opposed to a DiSEqC H-H Motor, so you don't necessarily need one

But, as previously mentioned, if your site is unduly exposed, you might consider dispensing with the H-H Motor and using a Polar Mount and Actuator instead, as they are far more resilient.

Frankly, H-H Motors are not expensive so if you are prepared to take a small risk of lunching it, you've nothing to lose by fitting it in the first place.
