Well

Looks good Ian, what is it like in a strong wind, does the pole not flex?

when i was using the big pole and T@K brackets yes it did flex in strong winds, thats why i took it all down and put a new bracket on wall .this new bracket reaches out further so dish can see all sats from east to west.before i could only get 28.2 east to 45 west. Now i am very happy because i get 45 east - 45 west.

That is what I was alluding to, considering the weight of the motor and dish the top bracket needs to be as high as possible without interfering with movement

Even shorten the mast and fit the brackets higher up the wall. Mount the motor between the TK.

I think you have done very well to get your setup working with that bracket ian, well done.

Some longer T&Ks spaced further apart would have been an alternative option. But if it works well as is it, leave it.

My System: andrews dish - jaeger 1224 motor, vantage x221tsci, skystar 2, diablo v2.3, cyfra+

the t&k brackets was the old mounting the op said and the new wall mount looks neater

the old brackets would have worked fine if you had have spaced them out plus used 18 or 24inch ones to get a wider arc if you needed it

also you did well to get the new bracket level on all sides

I am interested in a description of your dish. It almost appears to be a Prime Focus with a very shallow depth. Can you direct me to information about this dish?

I am not a complete idiot, some parts are missing.

It is not a prime focus satcom1, it's a standard offset dish. Presumably it is the 1m Gibertini as described in his profile.
