C-band on 120 cm Gregorian at 40º E

C-band on 120 cm Gregorian at 40º E

Yesterday I finished the modification on my 120cm Fibo .
With a C-band cone-feed and a dielectric plate and a Precision PMJ-LNB 15K lnb

After manuel scan (Maxplus 2100) Signal 97 % qual. 69 % on TP 3.675

My System: Covering 30W-105.5E range, two motors, C and Ku band. Various receivers/cards/cams/etc.

That is the strongest transponder there - I can get it using even 60cm offset dish. Some guys in russia manage to receive it using bare LNB...

I thought so , because its the only signal on that sat that gives me picture .
Even at 5º W Atlantic Bird , i don't have result .

My System: Motorized Gibertini OP150 ,Motorized Fibo MF90, 2X ASC signal 1.20 on stand by,ASC signal 1.80 ,Famaval 1.80 , 60cm eliptical raven ..hirschmann fibre glass 1.20m....and more gadgets

try to remove the cone you may get even better signal...looking at it i´m sure the cone makes some phisical shadowing on the reception

The DE plate is in the neck of the TRF , I can't place it in the body .
I'm gonna make a TRF without the outher scalaring .
This morning I found signal and picture at 5º W
TP 4158 R en 4163 L both sign. 97 qual. 69 total 15 chann.

My soldering iron is smoking all the time .
